Sophos, a leading Australian IT company, has made public the recent trend of a spam campaign that attempts to attract online casinos users to an online gambling site, with e-mails written in broken English, which features ‘lice over the Internet’ croupiers. The e-mails include a link which transports online casinos users to an unidentified online casino that evidently plays a video regarding its live nude dealers and encourages computer users to register.

‘Whatever you think of these tactics, the gambling websites are in danger of breaking the law by sending unsolicited spam like this. Companies and home users need to protect themselves from the nuisance of junk mail, and boycott those businesses that are supporting it,’ said a Sophos representative. Last month, Sophos reported that legal action is being taken against two companies following claims that e-mails promoting gambling and alcoholic drinks were spammed out to children. The warning this company is providing to online casinos players is invaluable. This is just another example of some of the concerns and dangers many online casinos fans face when trying to have a good gambling experience online.

Sophos recommends that companies protect themselves with a consolidated solution which can defend against the threats of spam, spy ware and viruses. The specific site for which the spammers are working has not been identified. However, Grand Nevada, a leading online casinos site operated by a Toronto-based company recently mentioned that the introduction of nude or scantily clad croupiers will be offered in its ‘live-over-the-internet’ online casinos gambling.
